This is the Katie Price of digital cameras. If you’ve always wished you were more photogenic (and, well, more perfect), now you can be with a click of Casio’s new Elixim digital camera, launched today. Casio’s new camera airbrushes images, enhancing skin tones and sharpening features such as eyes, hair and eyelashes without reaching for Photoshop. With 12 different make-up mode levels, you can set how clear your skin looks and decide how fake you want to go. Jeez. Madness.

Perfect for drunken nights out, this camera could mask your mid-night out clubbing face complete with panda eyes, shiny forehead and greasy hair (or perhaps that’s just me?) and make Facebook de-tagging a thing of the past. Hey presto! From minger to Barbie doll in one push of a button.

It features 10x optical Zoom, wide angle lens and long battery life – promising 1000 shots per charge – and is available in black, silver and pink for £242 from today on www.qvcuk.com

We haven’t seen any comparative imagery yet in the form of a before and abracadabra-after (I’m expecting miracles) but we’ll post something as soon as we can. Now all we need is that airbrushing mirror…

Samsung’s new Tic Toc, motion-controlled MP3 player is aimed at young ladies with a penchant for a fashion accessory and offers 12 hours playback for only £39.99.

Georgina Franklin of Samsung told Pocket Lint, “The Samsung Tic Toc is perfect for young women who want the latest fashion gadgets. With so many features on such a small MP3 player, it really is the latest must have colourful and fun accessory for music fans”.

LatestGadgets.co.uk concluded, “With a 2GB version at £39.99 and a 4GB option also available, the Tic Toc is set firmly at the iPod Shuffle crowd, coming in a few quid cheaper than Apple’s offering, but its candy colours and cute design (plus its novel control system) will definitely help it appeal to a younger crowd.”

While Electric Pig praised its design, “The Samsung TicToc makes the special edition iPod shuffle look positively boring.”

“Motion control makes a prominent showing on the Tic Toc, with the ability to skip songs by holding the device horizontally and shaking it left or right, volume is changed by holding the player vertically and clicking up or down, and three clicks skips to the next album on your playlist,” noted TechRadar.

It’s due for release in September and is also available in pink, blue, black – or even with a Hello Kitty theme. I say no more; it’s cheap and cheerful and a must for tech-loving, fashion-conscious tweens.

We’ve had the Polaroid PoGo Mobile Printer with its no-ink technology and tiny print-outs for a while. But now Pandigital has teamed up with Zero Ink company, ZINK Imaging, to offer a world first as part of a range of printing products: a 6×4” portable photo printer; the first device to offer instant prints of anything bigger than the size of your pocket.

ZINK Imagery technology allows you to print in full colour without even thinking about an ink cartridge or ribbons. How does it work, you ask? Well, it requires special paper, special ZINK-patented paper even, which uses a polymer coating and a combination of embedded yellow, magenta and cyan dye crystals that colourise when heated.

The Jelfin mouse promises to revolutionise the traditional computer mouse as we know it. To think of it, the design of the humble mouse has not been successfully challenged since becoming a staple of computer hardware.

The product claims to keep your hands relaxed and more comfortable for longer periods, putting less tension on the wrist and forearm.
