Sony is adding to the success of its Bloggie range with the Sony Bloggie Touch MHS-TS20K – a camcorder with touchscreen.
Sony says: “Sleek, colourful bloggie touch shoots crisply detailed 12.8 effective megapixel still photos and sparkling HD video with sound for easy sharing on the web. Just point and shoot – then connect to any PC and upload your memories to popular sharing sites like YouTube.”
The reviews:
Stuff magazine: “Sony has concentrated on keeping the Bloggie Touch simple. You could even call it ‘idiot friendly”.
Pocket-Lint: “In terms of size and design, the new Bloggie has a similar appearance to that of a smartphone, thanks largely to that LCD touchscreen. While it feels solid and sturdy, it’s still incredibly svelte for a camcorder and features a slick user interface.”
Digital Photography Review: “Bloggie™ Touch also records amazing 360-degree panoramic videos and photos to capture everything that’s happening around you – just clip on the supplied lens adaptor.”
T3 magazine: “Our only churlish quibble is that if it looks like a phone and, to an extent handles like a phone camera, why not just stick with your existing phone which probably already has a decent stills and video capability? That said, the Bloggie Touch is, for us, currently the coolest pocket cam out there.”
