According to Production Weekly, Zooey Deschanel is in talks to play the world’s first female computer programmer, Ada Lovelace, in “Enchantress Of Numbers”, to be directed by Bruce Beresford and released next year.
Born in 1815, Augusta Ada Byron – now known as Ada Lovelace – wrote the world’s first computer programme. She has become a figurehead, representing the need to recognise inspiring women’s achievements in tech and science.
Do you think Zooey is the obvious choice to play history’s first girl-geek? Let Witch Tech know who you would cast?
