I successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism at Cardiff University in 2009, learning all aspects of magazine craft - subbing, page layout, news writing, features writing, page furniture and shorthand. I also became a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers completed work placements at The Guardian Guide and WM magazine.

I studied English Literature at Cardiff University. Throughout the three years of my degree, I learnt how to analyse text, build a successful argument and write clearly and concisely. I also had the opportunity to take a couple of creative writing modules, which helped to develop my writing technique. I loved the library.
